  防爆電接點壓力表本質上就是在壓力表中加裝了一個電接點信號裝置,其作用相當于壓力表和壓力開關(壓力繼電器)共同作用,對被測(控)壓力的各種氣體與液體介質經電接點壓力表實現自動控制和發信報警的目的。由于防爆能力,可用于天然氣管道上,一些易燃易爆的氣體管道上。廣泛應用于石油、化工、冶金、電站、機械等工業部門或機電設備配套中測量各種流體介質壓力。
  防爆電接點壓力表由測量系統、指示系統、磁助電接點裝置、外殼、調整裝置和接線盒(插頭座)等組成,用于測量被測氣體、液體介質的正負壓力并在壓力達到預定值時發出信號,以接通或斷開控制電路,達到自動控制和報警的目的。
  工作原理是基于測量系統中的彈簧管在被測介質的壓力作用下,迫使彈簧管之末端產生相應的彈性變形一位移,借助拉桿經齒輪傳動機構的傳動并予放大,由固定齒輪上的指示(連同觸頭)逐將被測值在度盤上指示出來。與此同時,當其與設定指針上的觸頭(亦稱觸點,有上限或下限兩種)相接觸(動斷或動合)的瞬時,致使控制系統中的電路得以斷開或接通,以達到自動控制和發信報警的目的。
  防爆電接點壓力表使用注意:
  1、儀表必須垂直:安裝時應使用扳手旋緊,不應強扭表殼;運輸時應避免碰撞;
  2、在測量腐蝕性介質、可能結晶的介質、粘度較大的介質應加隔離裝置;
  3、儀表應經常進行檢定,如發現故障應及時修理;
  4、使用中因環境溫度過高,儀表指示值不回零位或出現示值超差,可將表殼上部密封橡膠塞剪開,使儀表內腔與大氣相通即可;
  5、儀表自出廠之日起,半年內若在正常保管使用條件下發現因制造質量不良失效或損壞時,由該公司負責修理或調換。
